Haboob.travel is a metasearch engine and travel agency based in Dubai, Sudan and owned by Syber Technology Group, the largest online travel agency in Sudan. The site is available in 02 languages and is used by 100 million people per month. The company lets people research and book travel options for their trips, including flights, hotels and car hire.
How can I change the language?
Haboob's website is available in Arabic and English languages. On our desktop website you can change the language by clicking on the flag click in the top menu of the screen and selecting your language from the drop-down list. To change language on our mobile app, tap the flag and select your desired language from the drop-down list. If you want to change straight to English, look out for the 'Switch to English' button

Does the airline allow name changes on airline tickets?
Name changing is not allowed under any circumstances. Once the ticket is issued the name can't be changed.
What types of documents are required to travel?
For a domestic flight at check in a government ID is required. For international flights passport is crucial, and a visa. So, please be advised to check if you need a visa for your destination. Our agents are not responsible for information regarding visa or passport requirements.
Can I travel with a one-way ticket to any country?
If you are not a citizen of that country, you can travel with a one-way ticket depending on the airline.
On International flights do I need to pay departure tax?
Certainly, most countries charge a departure tax at the airport on the day you are returning home and it has to be paid in cash.
How many pieces of luggage I'm permitted?
Most of the airline allow you to take 2 pieces of no more than 23kg and a carry-on of no more than 7kg. Extra luggage and weights may be allowed by the airline with/without an extra cost.
Can I bring extra luggage?
Yes, you can but the airline will charge an extra fee for each luggage you bring.
Can I change the dates on my ticket or destination?
The ticket must be unused in order to change destination. Depending on the type of ticket you have you can change the destination. Regarding the dates and times, most likely, Yes you can with extra cost.
How can I earn a free airline ticket?
After you travel a certain amount of air miles the airline company will issue a free ticket- the number of travel miles needed to earn a ticket differ between carriers.
What is a frequent flyer number?
A frequent flyer number is the account number that the airline of your choice provides you to accumulate miles every time you travel.
There’s nothing worse than missing a flight connection, so Haboob.travel is designed to help you avoid that fate! As a general rule, we don’t show flights with less than one-hour connection time in the airport, as this might not give you enough time between flights. You may also need more time - particularly in large airports or where you must clear customs and immigration between flights. We also make sure, if you’re making a journey with more than one flight and with different airlines, that we flag it if the two airlines don’t offer cover for missed connections. However, Haboob.travel is a travel search engine only, and we don’t sell flights directly – instead we pass you on to the airline or travel agent to make your booking, therefore we would recommend that you contact the flight provider if you have any specific questions or concerns – they also will be able to clarify what would happen in that situation.
When should I make my booking?
As soon as you are sure which dates you wish to travel, we would advise you to make your reservation. During traditionally busy periods (New Year, Carnival, Easter, Summer), we would book as early as possible. To obtain the lowest airfare must be book within 14 days or more in advance.
I am ready to book - what do I do?
You can book online, chat with customer support, or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the following details. 1. Full passenger name(s) as per your passport or Id issued by any government. 2. Dates you wish to travel (let us know if you have any flexibility) and how long you want to stay. 3. Contact number.
Where is my booking confirmation?
You should get a booking confirmation by email from the company you bought your travel from after completing payment for your booking. This can sometimes go into your spam/junk mail folder so it's always worth checking there. Still can't find it. There are 1000s of travel agencies, airlines, hotels and car hire companies that you can buy from through our site and app. We call them "partners". If you were redirected to a partner's site, or you bought from a partner within our site or app, then you'll need to contact that partner directly about this. If you booked your travel with Haboob.travel on our site or in the app, then try checking your emails – including your junk/spam folder. Your email will include all the ways to contact our traveler support team who can help you if you're still having trouble.

This depends on who you bought your travel from. There are two ways to buy travel through the Haboob.travel site or app: 1: Buy from a partner. 2. Book with Haboob.travel.
I bought from a partner
There are 1000s of travel agencies, airlines, hotels and car hire companies that you can buy from through our site and app. We call them "partners". When you buy from them, they will take your payment (you'll see their name on your bank or credit card statement), contact you to confirm your booking, and provide any help or support you might need. If you bought from one of these partners, you'll need to contact them as they have all the info about your booking. We unfortunately don't have any access to bookings you made with them.
I booked with Haboob.travel
If you booked your travel with Haboob.travel on our site or in the app, then check your booking confirmation for details on all the ways to get help.
I booked the wrong dates / times
If you booked the wrong dates or times, please contact the airline or travel agent that you booked your flight with as they will be able to help you change your flights to the intended dates or times. You can search flexible or specific dates on Haboob.travel to find your preferred flight, and when you select a flight on Haboob.travel you are transferred to the website where you will make and pay for your booking. Once you are redirected to the airline or travel agent website, you might be required to select dates again, depending on the website. In all cases, you will be shown the flight details of your selection and you are required before confirming payment to state that you have checked all details and agreed to the terms and conditions. We strongly recommend that you always check this information carefully, as travel information can be subject to change.
How do I search for flights on Haboob.travel?
Haboob helps you find the best options for flights on a specific date, or on any day in a given month or even year. For tips on how best to search, please head over to our search tips page.
How do I search for one-way flights?
By default, Haboob’s search is set up for return flights. However, it’s simple to change to one way. Whether you’re on our website, mobile website or app, you can search for one-way flights by selecting the ‘one way’ option above the ‘From’ (departure airport) field. To change back to return flights, simply re-select ‘Round trip’, or click in the return date field, and you’ll be able to search for return flights again.
If you want to search for direct flights, click the “Non-Stop flights” button at the bottom of the search controls.
On Haboob.travel you can search for the best flights for your group of up to 8 adult passengers (plus up to 8 children). For more passengers, the airline or travel agent may require you to book by telephone or via a special section of their website. This is because airlines may have preferential group fares and separate terms and conditions – so we want to ensure that you get the best deal. To find out more, suggest searching on Haboob.travel to identify which airlines and travel agents sell your chosen route, and then contacting the provider directly before your booking to check their policy.
Child/infant fares and children travelling alone
Travelling families: Prices for children and infants Some airlines might offer discounted airfares for children and/or infants. To help give you the most accurate flight prices and help you rest easy, we always ask for the ages of your children at the time of travel. Understanding the prices, we show Once you have entered your passenger information, we display our flight search results to show the total price (given to us by the airline/travel agent) for everyone If fare prices are cheaper for any children or infants travelling, you can be assured that we have already taken these discounts into account in the total price. Once you have selected a flight, we will usually redirect you to the airline or travel agent's website where you will be able to see the fare price breakdown for all individuals travelling. We recommend checking this information carefully before you book, however the total price for all passengers should match the total price you were shown on Haboob.travel.
Depending on the flight provider, the rules, conditions and prices for luggage (including sports equipment) do vary. It’s always recommended to check with the airline or travel agent directly (and you should be shown the options when you make your booking).
Visas, Passports and travel documents
Different airlines, countries and governments have many different requirements for passports, ID, visas and other travel documentation, which can also vary depending on your own nationality. Importantly, it is each passenger’s personal responsibility to ensure they have the correct documentation before they travel, so it’s crucial that you check these details before booking your flight.
Do I need a passport to make a booking?
This can differ depending on the flight provider (airline or travel agent), and the specific route. Often for domestic flights a passport is not required, and other forms of ID are acceptable – the airline or travel agent with whom you intend to book should be able to provide this detail. Some providers may ask for passport and ID at the time of booking and you won’t be able to complete your booking without these details, while with others may allow you to enter this information post-booking, or when you are doing online check-in a few days before travel.
Can I make a booking if my passport has expired?
If a passport is required to make a booking then in most cases it would be fine to make a booking with your old passport number and then, when you get your new passport, you can contact the airline and they can change it over for you (often you can do this on the 'manage my booking' section of the airline website, depending on the airline). However, the process can differ depending on the airline, so where possible we would recommend checking with the airline or travel agent in advance. We would also always recommend allowing enough time if you need to renew your passport, and your local passport office should be able to advise accordingly.
Do I need a visa or transit visa?
Travel documentation requirements do change frequently, so our best advice is to check with your airline or travel agent, as well your destination country’s local Embassy or Consulate prior your booking, and definitely before you fly. Remember, it is each passenger’s personal responsibility to make sure they have the needed documents before they travel.
When’s the best time to book?
Flight prices change all the time and the availability and pricing differ depending on a number of different elements. There is no certain way to guarantee the best prices, but sometimes of the year have historically been better than others. For example, there are often good flight deals. If you’re flexible on dates, using our month and whole year searches can also be helpful in comparing prices. Our browse view article might help. If you have fixed dates, you can try setting up price alerts which will let you know when the price changes. Here's another article that might help. In general, we recommend you to book a flight as soon as you find a price you are satisfied with. Whenever you decide to book, it’s reassuring to know that our system is designed to find you the best prices available at the time.
Travelling with pets
Airlines have different rules about travelling with pets, its recommended to contact the airline or travel agent you plan to book with directly with any questions, or to check the requirements for travelling with an animal.
We’re not currently able to show open return tickets on Haboob.travel. However, some airlines and travel agents may still allow you to do this directly on their sites. You can therefore still do your search on Haboob.travel, and then contact the travel provider (airline or travel agent) directly once you can see the travel options, and they should be able to help.
Business, First or Premium class tickets
When searching for specific dates and locations, you can choose the class of ticket you want to see results for. Just choose the class you’re interested in from the drop-down menu and click search! You will see results for one class at a time, so if you want to change the class you are viewing, simply change this in the drop-down menu and search again. Currently, Haboob.travel can only search for premium class fares when you look for specific locations or dates. We’re working on adding this feature to our whole month and year searches, as well as our searches to or from whole countries and even searches to everywhere.
What does “Book on Haboob.travel” mean?
When you see “Book on Haboob.travel”, this means that you can complete your purchase with a travel provider without leaving Haboob.travel. You use Haboob’s booking form to enter your personal details, select any optional extras offered by the provider, and enter your payment details. Remember that you are still booking with the airline, travel agent or travel provider - they still collect payment, and you will receive any confirmation emails, e-ticket and vouchers from them directly. If you have any questions about your booking, they are still the best people to help with customer service - but of course we’re here to help out if you have any other problems or you want to give us feedback about this feature.
Why does the price sometimes change when I am redirected to a flight provider?
Flight prices and availability change constantly, so we make sure the data is updated regularly to reflect this. When you click on 'details' or 'select', the price is updated again, so you always see the best price available from the airline or travel agent at time of booking. We make every effort to ensure the information you see on Haboob.travel is accurate and up to date, but very occasionally there can be reasons why the price is not represented accurately on the site. If you see a price difference between Haboob.travel and a flight provider, please contact us with all the flight details (from, to, dates, departure times, airline and travel agent if applicable) and we will investigate further. Just select “price difference” from the “What is your message about?” dropdown menu on the?contact us form below.
How do I find the best prices?
As a travel search engine, Haboob.travel helps you find the cheapest flights out there for any given route.
What do you include in the prices shown on Haboob.travel?
Our goal is to make searching for travel as transparent as possible. That's why prices on Haboob.travel always include an estimate of all taxes and charges, including any agency fees charged by online travel agencies. As a travel search engine, we don't advertise prices ourselves, and instead we display them on behalf of the travel providers (airlines and travel agents). Haboob.travel doesn’t influence prices at all, either, and we are only able to display the rates and availability that the travel providers pass through to us to be displayed. When we transfer you to the airline or travel agent website to complete your booking, all flight details including prices will be updated and displayed. The final price you pay for your tickets may change because of additional options offered by the provider, such as luggage, seating options or travel insurance (although these should always be optional). Sometimes a travel provider might charge more for certain payment methods. However, the price shown on Habbob.travel should always include a free option (usually it’s the most popular card in your country). Because you have at least one option to avoid any additional fees and it’s the most popular payment method that’s free, this is the price we show in our results. When I get redirected to a provider’s website the currency is different
Haboob.travel allows you choose from two currencies to view prices and compare flights, but some airline and travel agent websites will only show their prices or allow payment in a limited number of currencies. If these flights are shown on Haboob.travel, you should be able to book them. Please remember that if you pay for a flight in a different currency from the currency of your bank or card issuer uses, the currency conversion will be done by your bank or credit card company. They may use a different exchange rate to Haboob.travel and may charge commission. You should contact your bank if you want to find out about the exchange rate that will apply to you.
Can I book in my currency?
Some airlines and travel agent websites might not offer the option to book their prices in your preferred currency. However, if these flights are shown on Haboob.travel, they should be available for you to book, and the exchange rate would be set by your bank or credit card company. Please contact your bank if you want to know more about what type of exchange rate you would have to pay.
Do I have to pay in full straight away?
This may vary. Some 'special offers' require payment to be made at the time of booking. Some other fares could be paid a few days after the reservation is done. Travel Tip - Pay early. We issue the ticket early and you avoid possible fare increases.

I think I have been overcharged
Prices on Haboob.travel always include an estimate of all taxes and charges that must be paid. When?we transfer you to the airline or travel agent website to complete your booking, all flight details including prices will be updated and displayed. At this stage, we suggest that you check this information carefully before you confirm and pay for your booking. The final price you pay for your tickets may change because of additional options offered by the provider, such as luggage or travel insurance (although these should always be optional). A note about card fees. Airlines and travel agents offer a free payment?option (usually it’s the most popular?card in your country) but they might charge fees for other payment methods. Because you have at least one option to avoid these fees, we don't include them in our prices. My card has been charged but I don’t have a booking confirmation
You should get a booking confirmation by email from the company you bought your travel from. We recommend checking you junk/spam mail folder as it may sometimes goes there. If you still can't find it, we recommend contacting the company you bought from to understand what's going on. To find out who you need to contact, check the company name next to the charge on your bank account.

Is my ticket refundable?
Most of the tickets are non-refundable. Unless you purchase an unrestricted airline ticket.
When can I cancel my reservation if I'm not traveling?
You must cancel or change your reservation at least 24 hours in advance from the date of departure. If changes are not done within the time limit the ticket will not have any value and can't be use. Cancellation of refundable tickets will cause losing tax and services fees those are non-refundable by default in all tickets type. It’s recommended to read more all purchased services policies. Some flights/hotels service apply penalties in cancellation immediately upon purchasing.
How much is the penalty fee?
Depending where you are traveling, and type of ticket or reservation the penalty fee may differ.
How do I change or cancel my booking?
